D.C. is changing withholding forms

D.C. is proposing a massive change to withholding tax returns. There will not be a FR900M or a FR900B for 2017. Existing monthly filers will be converted to quarterly filing (payment are still due monthly). D.C. is advising payors to take the time to obtain an employer/payor DC assigned ID so that the new returns and payments can be processed successfully. The 2016 FR900A and 2016 FR900B remained unchanged from 2015. This will be the last year for FR900B. More information will be released in the next several months and reported in the PAYROLL MANAGEMENT GUIDE when released by the D.C. Department of Revenue.
