D.C. issues 2018 withholding tables

D.C. has issued new wage-bracket and percentage method withholding tables for wages paid on and after January 1, 2018. The annual exemption amount will be $4,150. All of the tables are reproduced in this Report at ¶5758 and ¶5759. Employers will not be able to use a social security number if they are a business/employer and filing/paying withholding tax to the District of Columbia. In addition, the District will no longer accept CD’s or any media for filing W-2’s or 1099’s. Filers must use the bulk upload or online data entry via MyTax.DC.gov. (District of Columbia Income Tax Withholding Instructions and Tables 2018, FR-230, (11/17).)
