Minnesota shares new withholding tax calculator

Minnesota has released a new withholding calculator. The new tool can help calculate withholding tax on: regular wages (employee payroll), supplemental payments (overtime, commissions, and bonuses), payments made for personal services, and payments dated January 1, 2009 – end of current year.

Users will need to be able to provide the regular wages, payment date, pay period frequency, payment amount (before tax deductions), number of allowances on W-4 or W-4MN, marital status on W-4 or W-4MN supplemental payments, payment date, payment amount, personal services payments, payment date, payment amount.
