Nebraska Form W-3N will not be mailed to previous year E-Filers

Nebraska has announced that it will no longer be mailing Form W-3N, Nebraska Reconciliation of Income Tax Withheld, to employers who electronically filed Form W-3N for the previous year. According to the department, the due date for filing the 2017 Form W-3N and state copies of certain federal forms (e.g, Forms W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-MISC, etc.) is January 31, 2018. Taxpayers should visit to file Form W-3N, as well as accompanying wage and tax statements, electronically. (Nebraska Department of Revenue, Bulletin, November 7, 2017.)
