Seventeen states, Washington, D.C. will run SHOP marketplaces, report finds

Seventeen states and the District of Columbia will be running their own Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) marketplaces, where small firms can buy health insurance for their employees, while the federal government will operate SHOP marketplaces in the remaining 33 states, according to a new Commonwealth Fund study. ERRP Center closing soon, CMS announces

As part of the plan to end the temporary Early Retiree Reinsurance Program (ERRP), the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will discontinue telephone and email support through the ERRP Center (also known as the ERRP Contact Center) after March 28, 2014. For details, see ¶2075N.

Employee satisfaction with benefits reached 50% in 2013, according to MetLife’s 12th Annual
