ERIC calls for regulatory flexibility in implementing workplace wellness programs

The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) has submitted comments strongly encouraging the regulatory agencies overseeing wellness programs to support and ensure regulatory flexibility for incentive-based workplace wellness programs in order to allow these programs to expand and flourish. Health account balances resume growth, EBRI finds

After a slight drop during the recent recession, health savings accounts (HSAs) and health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) are showing renewed growth, the average account balance increasing over the past two years, according to new research by the nonpartisan Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI).
