Bill introduced to repeal HSA provisions of ACA

U.S. Representative John Fleming, M.D. (LA-4), has introduced H.R. 6137, the Helping Save Americans’ Health Care Choices Act of 2012, which would repeal provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) relating to health savings accounts (HSA).For details, see ¶2059L.

Supreme Court decision lowers projected ACA cost, number of covered individuals, CBO finds

The Supreme Court’s ruling on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care (ACA) will reduce the federal government’s projected net cost of the law’s insurance coverage provisions by $84 billion over the 2012–2022 period, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) and the Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) have concluded.
