USCIS invites employers to E-Verify teleconference

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is inviting employers to participate in a teleconference on Thursday, March 22, from 2-3 p.m. (Eastern) to discuss the upcoming release of E-Verify system enhancements.
During the session, representatives from USCIS will share information about the new E-Verify case processing functions and modernized user interface. This includes:

  • Enhanced usability features;
  • A streamlined process for creating and managing cases to increase the speed and accuracy of verification results;
  • Modernized data matching process to reduce Tentative Nonconfirmations;
  • Improved overall data integrity and system compliance; and
  • Transfer of case data to a new modernized system. E-Verify will launch enhancements the week of March 26.

The session will cover these enhancements with a question-and-answer period to follow. USCIS cannot answer case-specific inquiries during the teleconference. To register for this session, follow these steps:

  • Visit the registration page to confirm participation;
  • Enter email address and select “Submit”
  • Select “Subscriber Preferences”
  • Select the “Event Registration” tab;
  • Complete the questions and select “Submit.”

Once the registration is processed, employers will receive a confirmation e-mail with additional details. Employers with questions about the registration process, or those who have not received a confirmation e-mail within two business days, should e-mail USCIS at USCISIGAOutreach@uscis.dhs.gov.
